Profile filling strips and blocks are required for sealing sheet piling. This prevents drafts and cold bridges. The material is polyethylene foam with a closed cell structure. It is resistant to rot and damage by rodents and birds. It also prevents the ingress of blown rainwater, snow, dust and the like.
It is also possible to manufacture the profile filling blocks in non-combustible quality according to DIN 4102 A1. EPDM can be used in aggressive environments or in places where higher temperatures occur. High-density polyethylene foam is used when a higher rigidity is required from the profile filling strip, or when used as a spacer.
